Tucked away between large luxurious dioramas on Kalakaua Avenue, Lukie Wong first opened up shop in 1988 at a location where nobody thought she'd be able to succeed. Today, those who venture up the narrow license plate clad staircase will discover Lukie’s unique and funky boutique filled with customers. Celebrities who have found their way to 88 Tees over the years are Japanese singing star Ayumi Hamasaki, actor Jackie Chan, sumo star Akebono and singer/actress Beyoncé Knowles. |
